Phoenix World Series, 2024:

The Des Moines Bruins once again qualified for the playoffs in the 45+ Cactus Division.  The team finished 3-3 in pool play & lost their opening round game to the Arizona Giants, 8-5.

Former MIBL members:  Jared Goldberg (AZ), Randy Vernon (AZ)
Other teammates:  Larry Fournier (OK), Tom Gelatka (CA), Josh Hamm (CA), Tim Leahy (CA), Bob Lord (CA), Rob Miller (CA)

 
Others participating:

Joe Bauman, Tim Kirgan & Bobby Williams with the Rochester Redwings (55+) the week of October 18-23.  Rochester went 4-2 in pool play & won their first playoff game, before losing to the Nor Cal Cubs 11-10 in the quarterfinals.

Joe Bauman, Phil DeVan, Gary Frank, Tim Kirgan, Jim Pizinger, Pat Scholer & Bobby Williams with the Sonoma County Cardinals (60+).

Jim Pizinger, Pat Scholer & former league member, RIck Fleener participated with the Colorado Blues in the NABA Las Vegas Tournament.

Eric White, Jake Epsteen & Jay Flaherty participated with both the Midwest Storm 25+ Wood Minor & the MIdwest Storm 35+ Wood Minor teams in the NABA World Series in Phoenix.  The 35+ team won the Championship!
